SERVICES
TESTING
The Hub provides safe, confidential, and quick testing services. We offer free HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Trichomoniasis testing. There is no need to make an appointment; just drop in!

Services offered through our Living Well Health Clinic include:

Screening for STIs (i.e., gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and hepatitis A and B without symptoms)

Diagnosis and treatment for STIs for patients with known exposure
​

Diagnosis and treatment for symptomatic STIs
PrEP CLINIC
PrEP is a medication to prevent transmission of HIV that can be taken in different ways. This section pertains to pills that are taken orally.

When used consistently, PrEP has been shown to reduce the risk of HIV infection by up to 99%.
​

PrEP does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
​
PrEP helps HIV-negative individuals protect themselves against HIV infection. It is a safe and accessible option for anyone looking to take proactive control of their health. You can take PrEP without worrying about interactions with alcohol, recreational drugs, or hormone therapies. While it may not be the perfect fit for every individual, it is a powerful preventative measure that everyone should consider.
REFERRAL TO CARE
Our overall goal is to help identify those who are living with HIV (who may be unaware) and link them to care.

El Centro / The HUB is a Prevention department entity at AIDS Alabama, Inc., providing a space for individuals interested in learning about their sexual health. All education, community outreach, programs, and social events focus on engaging and informing the community while addressing sexual health topics. Services provided in the space include:

Living Well
Health Clinic
At the Living Well Health Clinic, we offer a wide range of services designed to keep you safe. Our medical team provides thorough screening, diagnosis, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and hepatitis.

We also specialize in HIV testing, counseling, and treatment. To help you actively lower your risk, we supply prevention education, risk reduction counseling, and full PrEP and PEP services.
​
We accept all major insurance plans and provide Patient Assistance Program options to help patients receive PrEP at little to no cost or for free. All of our sexual health services are available to adults over the age of 18. Schedule your visit today and take control of your health.

AIDS ALABAMA
El Centro/The Hub is an AIDS Alabama PrEP clinic and community center for people living with HIV/AIDS and anyone else who would like to visit. It is open to all who are interested, regardless of HIV status.
